FaceRedact 隐私政策

FaceRedact 是一款在设备本地处理视频隐私遮挡的应用。我们重视你的隐私，并将数据收集降至最低。

1. 本机处理

你选择的视频、人脸检测结果、跟踪信息、遮挡区域和编辑结果均在你的设备上处理。FaceRedact 不会将这些内容上传到开发者控制的服务器。

2. 人脸数据

FaceRedact 不收集或向开发者、任何第三方传输人脸数据。用户选择视频后，App 使用 Apple Vision 框架完全在用户设备上处理视频。处理过程中，App 会临时分析视频画面并生成人脸边界框、检测置信度和随时间变化的轨迹坐标。这些信息仅用于定位人脸并应用用户选择的模糊、马赛克、纯色或表情遮挡。

FaceRedact 不进行人脸识别或身份确认，不创建人脸档案或生物识别模板，也不将人脸数据用于认证、广告、分析、追踪或任何无关目的。

3. 我们不收集或分享的数据

开发者不收集你的个人数据、视频、人脸信息、编辑内容、使用记录、设备标识符或精确位置。人脸数据、源视频、检测结果和编辑后的视频不会出售、披露或分享给第三方。FaceRedact 不包含广告 SDK、广告跟踪、第三方分析 SDK 或第三方人脸处理 SDK。

4. 照片访问

FaceRedact 请求照片权限，仅用于让你选择需要处理的视频，以及将处理后的视频保存到照片图库。开发者无法访问你的照片图库。

FaceRedact 不以儿童为对象收集个人数据。由于我们不运营账号、内容托管或数据收集服务，开发者不会收到儿童的个人信息。

如果应用的数据处理方式发生变化，我们会更新本政策、生效日期以及 App Store 中的隐私声明。

FaceRedact Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2026

FaceRedact is an on-device video privacy masking app. We respect your privacy and minimize data collection.

1. On-device processing

Your selected videos, face detection results, tracking information, masks, and edits are processed on your device. FaceRedact does not upload this content to developer-controlled servers.

2. Face data

FaceRedact does not collect or transmit face data to the developer or to any third party. When a user selects a video, the app uses Apple’s Vision framework to process the video entirely on the user’s device. During this process, the app temporarily analyzes video frames and generates face bounding rectangles, detection confidence values, and time-based tracking coordinates. This information is used solely to locate faces and apply blur, mosaic, solid-color, or emoji masks selected by the user.

FaceRedact does not perform facial recognition, identify individuals, create facial profiles, generate biometric templates, or use face data for authentication, advertising, analytics, tracking, or any unrelated purpose.

3. Data we do not collect or share

The developer does not collect personal data, videos, face information, edits, usage history, device identifiers, or precise location. Face data, source videos, detection results, and edited videos are not sold, disclosed, or shared with third parties. FaceRedact has no advertising, ad tracking, third-party analytics, or third-party facial-processing SDKs.

4. Photo library access

Photo access is used only to let you select a video and save the processed video. The developer cannot access your photo library.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

Preferences remain in UserDefaults. The free-export count remains in the device Keychain and may survive reinstallation on the same device.

The selected video is temporarily copied to the app’s private temporary storage on the device for the active editing session. Face detection and tracking information is maintained only on the device for that session and is not uploaded to or stored on developer-controlled servers. The temporary imported video and session face data are deleted when the user leaves the editor. Temporary files may later be removed by iOS after an abnormal termination.

An exported redacted video is saved to the user’s photo library only when the user explicitly chooses to save it. The user can delete it at any time in the Photos app.

6. Purchases and network access

Apple StoreKit handles purchases, subscription verification, offer-code redemption, and restore. The developer does not receive payment-card details. Video processing does not use the network; purchase flows may contact Apple services.

7. Children

FaceRedact does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app provides no developer-operated accounts, content hosting, or data collection service.

8. Changes

If the app's data practices change, we will update this policy, its effective date, and the App Store privacy disclosures.
